Kristin Lueke is a Chicana writer, brand strategist, and co-founder of Field of Practice, an award-winning WoC-owned creative studio featured in Communication Arts and The Webbys. She’s helped build brands and campaigns for numerous purpose-driven organizations, including Planned Parenthood, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Terra Foundation for American Art, Native Workforce Partners, Braver Collective, and Chicago Freedom School.
Kristin is the author of the chapbooks here i show you a human heart and (in)different math (Dancing Girl Press). Her poetry has has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, Best New Poets, and Best of the Net. It appears in Sixth Finch, Wildness, The Maine Review, Mizna, Okay Donkey, HAD, and elsewhere. She was a runner up for the 2023 Santa Fe Reporter Spring Poetry Search, finalist for the 2024 Porter House Review Poetry Prize, and received the Morris W. Kroll Poetry Prize from Princeton University, where she earned an AB in English. She also holds an MA from the University of Chicago.
